New Find

On one of my shopping excursions I came across this lighting designer that I thought was interesting. The first picture is of blown glass spheres. This lighting fixture can be made up of one sphere or 10 spheres. It’s up to you how many you want and at what heights to hang them from.

This lighting fixture is the same sort of idea but made with a different material. Both are very unique and would look gorgeous in a dining room over a table. In a hallway hung from the second floor draped by a staircase. Over a kitchen island. The possibilities are endless…..

A New Year

A New Year, a new lighter look. We’re going to see colours that are more muted and calming in fashion and home décor this year. The two colours chosen by Pantone for 2016 are “Rose Quartz” and “Serenity”. These pastel colours give a feeling of relaxation and peace.

We see a lot of similarities between fashion and home decor.

I love how these colours are so calming. In a world of chaos where everything is so fast paced and at your finger tips, try incorporating these colours in your home to create a relaxed atmosphere.

However, I don’t think we’ve seen the last of the grey…… just a more muted one.

I still love it!
